For Businesses
Guidelines for food businesses utilizing FoodRunz dedicated drivers

1. Respect and Conduct Toward Drivers
- •All drivers must be treated with professionalism, courtesy, and respect at all times.
- •Any form of verbal abuse, discrimination, harassment, or aggressive behavior toward a driver is strictly prohibited.
- •Drivers are not to be spoken to or treated as subordinates — they are independent partners and contracted logistics personnel.
2. Assignment of Duties
- •Drivers are contracted specifically for delivery services only.
- •Any requests for additional duties beyond their role (e.g., folding boxes, dishwashing, janitorial work, food prep, cashiering) must:
- • Be clearly requested in advance
- • Receive driver consent
- • Include additional compensation via your FoodRunz dashboard
- •Drivers have the full right to decline any extra duties beyond delivery work without penalty.
3. Abuse & Misconduct Reporting
- •Drivers are instructed to report any form of mistreatment, misconduct, or unsafe working conditions immediately to the FoodRunz Customer Service Management Team.
- •Upon verification of an incident:
- • The driver may leave the shift immediately without penalty
- • The business account may be temporarily suspended during the investigation
- • If misconduct is verified, your account may be permanently terminated with no refund
4. Safety and Work Environment
- •Businesses must ensure drivers are not exposed to hazardous, illegal, or abusive environments.
- •Proper parking accommodations and safe pickup conditions must be ensured to prevent fines or towing.
- •Drivers must have access to water or breaks during long shifts.
5. Schedule Integrity
- •Businesses must respect driver shift schedules. Requesting last-minute overtime or extended hours without agreement and extra pay is not allowed.
- •Drivers are not obligated to stay past their scheduled time.
6. Shift Cancellations
- •Any business cancellation of scheduled shifts must be made 24 hours in advance to avoid penalties.
- •Repeated last-minute cancellations may lead to service restrictions.
7. Driver Feedback & Communication
- •Constructive feedback is welcomed, but it must be professional, actionable, and never personal.
- •Feedback about driver performance must be submitted through the official FoodRunz Client Portal.
- •Businesses may not directly threaten drivers with complaints or retaliatory reviews.
8. Disciplinary Consequences
Depending on the severity and frequency of violations:
- •First Violation: Written warning and mandatory client conduct meeting
- •Second Violation: 1-week service suspension
- •Third Violation: Permanent account termination with a non-reinstatement clause
